my Tips #3: Reach Out and Touch Someone

“Touches” can be in the form of direct mail, eNewsletters, personal emails, phone calls, handwritten notes, etc.  If the only time we connect with prospects and clients is when we’re trying to make a sale, chances are we haven’t nurtured a real relationship.

Prospects may need to be ‘touched’ 6-8 times before they take action.

Make a connection beyond a strictly-business relationship. Whether you’re sending a Happy Holidays postcard, a Thank You Card, useful information, or a handwritten note congratulating someone on their new home –touches are opportunities to build genuine relationships.
